Craig Taubman and Craig 'N Co are about impacting the world one event, song, inspiration, and ripple at a time.

Dear Friends,

I think this may be the first email I’ve sent under the Craig & Company banner in 13 years.

A few months ago, I stepped away from the day-to-day operations of the Pico Union Project—the nonprofit my wife and I started to serve this remarkable DTLA community. If you’re not familiar, I hope you’ll take a moment to visit and learn more.

Attached is a new song I created with Benjamin Jaffe called Open the Door. I had a great time making it, and it feels especially relevant right now. I hope you’ll take a listen—and, if it resonates, consider sharing it with your family, friends, or community.

Wishing you a meaningful Passover—and whatever doors you’re ready to open.

A Little Something for Your Seder Table

I asked my friend Deborah Schuldenfrei to create a short Seder discussion guide inspired by Open the Door. It won’t replace the Haggadah. It won’t make your brisket better. But it might spark a real conversation somewhere between the Four Questions and the second glass of wine.

You can download it HERE, print it and drop it into the Seder wherever it feels right.

About the Song (and a small ask)

I’m really excited to share this song. In just over two days, it’s already reached more than 20,000 views—which is amazing… and also just the beginning.

Our hope is to get Open the Door into as many hands, hearts, and Seder tables as possible this Passover. The idea of opening a door—to hope, to change, to each other—feels especially important right now.

If the song speaks to you, please share it on Facebook, Spotify, or YouTube.

Nu Music?

You betcha.

I’m working on a new Jewish album—music that reflects where I am, and hopefully where we’re headed.

It’s being shaped through private commissions—people stepping in to help open the door and bring it to life. I’m three songs in and loving every minute.

If this speaks to you (or your organization), I’d love to connect: craig@picounionproject.org
